Introduction

The importance of undergraduate internships cannot be emphasized enough. It broadens your horizon, deepens your connections, and keys you into a state of mind that majority of the graduates struggle to transition into once their studies are over. Obtaining an honest grade is simply the primary step; maintaining and getting professional experience from the company world is another ball game linear unit. This article is about my Journey in Graphic Designing.

I always enjoyed doing creative stuff because it brings fun and attraction to things. To me, designing is creativity, and this translated into my interest to start learning Graphic Designing.

Initially, I began as a self-learner, but honest reviews and feedbacks are always required on the work to enhance and increase our skills. It is also required to see the areas where we are lacking in the following niche.

I started as an intern in an NGO to get reviews about my work initially, but as I spent more time working on this internship, I realized that these undergraduate internships not only help us to get reviews and feedback on our work but also help us build so many intangible professional qualities like integrity, responsibility, communication skills, attentiveness and so many more. The experience they provide is invaluable. These internships also make us realize our interest like for example – I liked the creative work, so I continued it, but at times the possibilities that could be what we are good at might be exhausting for us. And once some work starts becoming exhausting for us we won’t enjoy doing that work hence we don’t have interest in it. These internships make us realize what truly our interest is and how can we explore more about our interest by pursuing internships in different niches until we find our true interest.

"There's Always A Scope Of Improvement"

I started working with NGOs initially, but as I got the suitable experience, I started getting selected in paid internships too. These internships might be tiring as we might feel overburdened at times, but trust me, it is only prepping us and making us better, hard-working, and efficient for our future. We might feel like giving up at times, but that is the beginning of when we start learning things and, we shouldn’t give up at this stage. These internships provide us with a mentor who can train us for the needful and helps us in building network and connection, which plays an important factor in today’s world as connections help us in getting a better environment, a better workplace.

As time glided by, my responsibilities grew considerably, and then I got used to the fast culture. Tight deadlines and fast turnaround times pushed the American state to become a lot agile. Economical at work and, this conjointly increased my analytical skills. I was guided by my colleagues. That is how I picked up several skills on the approach and was ready to quickly adapt to the various things, I became two-faced. The training and learning curve was steep, and it was challenging, however, I think I learn the foremost in difficult circumstances. Despite the aggressive surroundings, I forever had the unwavering support of my team and was perpetually recognized for my efforts.

This journey in Graphic Designing has been full of ups and downs, but it keeps getting easier and more interesting. The learning never stops and, when you understand this, you start getting better and better opportunities.
