Today, every parent wants to get their child the best of all. All the parents want that their child must be the best in comparison to all his colleagues in every field, especially in the field of knowledge and studies. But if we observe all around, these are just the expectations of the parents. They just push their child to be the best, they do not prepare him or her. As a result, we see many suicide cases in newspapers or television news. It gives us the conclusion that just getting a child to be pushed to make, their future by a parent is not only the thing. As a parent, forgetting our child a bright future, first, we have to prepare him or her to make the right decisions for getting their better future. If we do not prepare them and just keep our expectations from them, then there are chances that the child would get depressed and would take the wrong decision for himself or herself. If we go into the deep, we see that especially parents have the most significant impact on their children’s future choices. In one recent study, 78% of the children said that parents were the most important source of their future career guidance. Here the thing which can be observed that most of the parents are not fully ready to give their children the proper career guidance. Only the parents who are fully educated and updated towards this thing can give their children proper career guidance. So, firstly as a parent we have to make ourselves aware of this thing that the environment of the parents in the home or outside the home plays a major role in preparing a child for the future. The second thing that plays the role is the environment of the child around himself or herself, i.e., his friends, colleagues, teachers, and all the people that the child meets every day. So, parents have to understand these things and have to get prepared by themselves first and then prepare their children for their future.

Now the question arises that how to prepare our child for their future as a parent. Teach them sacraments first

The first thing or we can also say teaching which has to be taught to a child is sacraments. As a parent, it is our first duty to our children sacraments. Without sacraments, a human being is just like an animal. So, a human being is firstly taught being human, which is the first law of sacraments.

Provide them a good environment

As a parent, it is our duty to provide our child with a good environment. When a child will live in a good environment, he or she will learn good things. By learning good things, they will also be able to create good thoughts and things as well. They will also do good activities.

Teach them to become a good person

When the environment for a child will be positive, he or she will learn positive things. But we also have to teach them to become good people as well. This can be done by doing good activities with the child and providing them a good environment also. Teach them to make good friends, having relations with good persons as well.

Motivate them for doing enormous things

Sometimes there a condition occurs that a child creates his or her boundary, that he or she cannot do things that are out of this boundary. This boundary technically is known as the ‘Comfort zone’. Some children create their comfort zone and then do activities according to it. So, as a parent, it is your duty to motivate your child that he or she can do anything in his or her life. Try o break that comfort zone of that what the child has created. Only after that he or she can do the things that he or she thinks impossible for themselves.

Make yourself as your child’s ideal

As a parent, your child observes you very sensitively. So, do things so that your child will take you as his or her ideal person. Do the activities and the things so that your child should think that you are eagerly working hard for them, and which you are actually doing.

Praise your child correctly

It is very important that you should praise your child in the correct manner. For example, if your child does a good job then you should appreciate him or her correctly by saying ”Wow! You have done a good job, now keep it up” Instead of saying ”You have done good, but you can do better than this.” These types of sentences can create a positive or negative effect on your child.

Make them as what they want to do in their life

Make your child as so that he or she can take their decisions, and they must be concrete on it. Only then they can get success in their life. So, when they will think about their future, they will be able to make smart decisions as well. These are some of the steps that you should follow as a parent. It is in your hands and also your responsibility that you should prepare your child for a good future. So, make them do whatever they want to do. But teach them the differences between good and bad in every field of their life. If your children remember your teachings, if you have taught them in a great manner, they will become a very good person which will have a good future as well.
