Another factor which is very common in today’s society and education system is too much emphasis on marks. It has been seen that parents and students are often swayed by the recent marks the child obtained in his test. They often decide to not consider a subject they like or have passion and talent in, just because they have obtained a lower marks in that subject compared to the others. You should never analyze your future based on that.
The marks do keep changing but a one-time phenomenon can never indicate the field you are going to spend your entire life in. therefore parents and children must take this step quite seriously as its indeed a very important one. Many parents nowadays are arranging career counsellors for their kids for an accurate understanding of their child’s future career path and skills and interests and suggestion about the field that they feel connected to and all the scope and opportunities in it. This helps the children a lot to get an accurate analysis.
