Dear Aspirant, If you are interested in Information Technology or IT Engineering career, then doing BE IT is highly recommended and not BSc IT. If the case is that you are not getting admission into engineering for some reason, then I would suggest that you may choose BCA and not BSc IT. BSc IT is also a good course, but I would like to recommend that do not settle for a second level course if you are getting admission to superior course. Plain BSc would not help you to get into IT industry and in this case, BSc IT is fine. However you will be much more in demand for jobs if you complete MSc I

One must have scored minimum 50% in 12th with science stream, specifically physics, chemistry and biology. There are institutions which have their own strategies and admission criteria, plus it depends on the availability of the seats as well. Dear Aspirant, Basically from your question, it appears that you are not too much inclined towards science subjects and only want subjects apart from Chemistry. I feel you are not suitable for Science careers. I would recommend you to appear for the Ideal Career Test from CareerGuide.com. Dear Student, if you are pursuing medical or non-medical branch, then Chemistry subject is a mandatory one but otherwise if we talk about B.sc. IT/ B.Sc. CS/ B.Sc. Home Science then there is no role of Chemistry, thus it depends which B.Sc. you are going through. Dear Student, I guess you need to check the validity of the university itself on UGC's weblink, a couples of months back certain courses from CMJ were blacklisted and I doubt whether Bsc from this university will be considered valid anywhere or not?
