Dear Aspirant, Clearly Automobile Engineering will not be of any use in Merchant Navy. It will be just regarded as a normal graduation. To get sponsorship, you need to be working in cargo and shipping industry, where your automobile engineering will not be regarded as eligibility. Hello Garvit, Interesting question asked. Army is one of the most noble profession. Hope you have made your mind to join army and not been forced by anybody. In the Indian Army, law graduates (3 year course (LLB) after graduation, 5 year integrated  courses after class 12) can join the JAG branch (Judge Advocate General branch) and the essential points briefly are- 55% marks from an institution recognized by Bar council of India, 21-27 yrs age, specified medical standards (height, weight, eyesight). Show your original birth certificate to the authorities and give an undertaking signed by your father that your date of birth was incorrectly mentioned in the documents. 2. You can appear for the Combined Defence Services Exam held twice a year (May and October) if you are a graduate. You will be eligible to join the army as an officer once you clear the exam and the SSB Interview and your name comes up in the merit list.
