Hello Vipin, To become a Professor you can apply for the UGC NET exam. The NET exam is an eligibility test which is conducted by the Nation Testing Agency to testing the ability of the aspirants to holding the position of professor/lecturer/researcher. To be eligible for that exam candidates should have masters' degree with at least 55% aggregate percentage. There is no age criteria to apply for the lectureship.
