Dear Career Aspirant
Welcome to meracareerguide
We guide you to a proper career in accordance with your skills and attitudes.

Your option about going for MBA after BE was, in my opinion, a good one. In today's scenario the option is definitely lucrative. But in any case, you shall be considered as an human resource person, and most probably your BE may not be considered in your career.

Or rather BE shall be considered as just a graduation. That is the problem with leaving the stream and joining another stream. Youngsters are prone to do such mistakes. Very much wrong.

HR is totally a management subject. You shall get every opportunity that is given to any MBA HR person. But there is nothing to be demoralized. Because in any case you shall be given opportunity.

Hope this answers your query.
Good luck.

Hello

BE Electronics with an MBA in HR is an excellent choice and I am very glad for you as you have chosen a nice combination to be able to stand competitive in future careers. A BE Electronics graduate is an ideal candidate in a HR role in many ways. First let me explain how it is and then I shall advice on the companies that selects this combination of candidates.

Sourcing analyst: As being a sourcing analyst, with a technical BE degree in Electronics, you are a very good candidate to source technical savvy resumes from the databases on job portal. As a sourcing analyst you need to understand key technical terms from the job vacancy notes and accordingly use such key terms in finding the suitable matching resumes for the vacant position. Therfore if you have sound understanding of such technical key words, you could better filter the resumes. Technical backgrund candidates are often preferred for these roles than some one who has a non technical background or even only a MBA HR degree. so you should be a definite ideal fit for this role.

Technical recruiter: A technical recruiter is again someone with a technical background as well as the MBA Hr degree. So with your technical preconceived knowledge, you are an ideal person to write job description and mention the required skills on the job vacancy script. As you have sound understanding of technical knowledge in electronics, you can create job description commonly known as the JD, and mention the required skills for the post as per your knowledge. As a technical recruiter you may also take part in interviewing candidates. So when a person is invited for an interview, you as a recruiter can question the preliminary technical questions in the interview. So as a technical recruiter, this will keep you capable of both helping you to question as well as understand the answers given by the candidate.

Job scope:
Qualcomm,Intel India Pvt Ltd,Sony entertainment,Honeywell,Adobe, Bharat Electronics limited BEL, Electronics corporation of India limited, holoflex, OEN India, SCL India, Tata communications, Relaince communications, Siemens, Bharti Airtel, BSNL India, Samtel group, Net app, Moser baer group pvt ltd, Sterlite technologies ltd, Centum electronics, Jabil circuits, Midas comunication technologies, Microsoft India, Aar em electronics and many more happily select students with a BE in technical subject and MBA in HR.

Finally your profile is an ideal match for technical HR positions especially for the sourcing analyst and the recruiter positions. You can try for jobs in any of the companies mentioned above and I am sure you will be offered an excellent position in their HR department. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Dear Aspirant,

Always remember that the Masters qualification determines your job. Therefore if you have done MBA after your BE or BA or BCom or MBBS doesn't matter. You will be offered a job based on your last academic qualification in such case.

After post graduation, graduation does not remain relevant.

An MBA HR can get good jobs. Firstly focus on job profile rather than whether the company is big MNC or not. Challenging job profiles which enable you to learn and perform will get you jobs in MNCs.

Scope depends on how you leverage your domain knowledge. Just an MBA does not guarantee anything in life.

Best wishes
