Hello

Nice to hear from you back. I understand you are keen in studying in the UK, and I remember I have been answering your queries on this subject. My dear, why are you afraid of studying in the UK? I am an living example in front of you, to have studied in the UK with scholarships and I am also currently working as a PhD Scholar at a UK university. To get scholarships, one must have a very high bachelors score at college degree level. In general, to give you a place to study with scholarship, UK universities will demand a minimum of Distinction that is 75% for Engineering graduates and more than 80% for three year bachelors degree. TO award a scholarship for a Delhi university graduate, a score of more than 70-75% itself is actually very convincing. I have calculated your aggregate and it comes around 82.3% until four semesters. If you maintain the same range for next two semesters, then you will have a final aggregate between 80-85% in your BSc, you know this is actually a SUPER HIGH SCORE FOR A DELHI UNIVERSITY GRADUATE. This keeps you very high for being successful in scholarship applications.

Advantages of studying in the UK than USA other countries:
1. You can complete your masters within one year.
2. Only UK is happy to accept three year bachelors degree students for a masters degree where as other countries demand a four year bachelors degree like the BE/ BTech. As you have studied BSc then applying to UK is the only option as USA only accepts four year degrees.
3. Opportunity to study at top ranked world universities.
4. UK is a very good destination that offers plenty of study scholarships ranging from 20-100% scholarships.
5. IELTS exam is alone enough for UK where as if you want to study at other countries then you should write GRE and TOEFL exam. Together you need to pay 21,000 rupees for such exam fees itself. GRE costs 12500 rupees and TOEFL costs close to 11000 rupees. But please be aware that there is no point in writing GRE and TOEFL exams as anyhow USA universities will not accept a BSc degree.

So if you want to definitely study abroad, then UK is the only suitable country for your profile as no other country accepts a three year bachelors course except the UK.

Regarding pending mark sheets: As I already advised you, submit the mark sheets that you have in hand. with this the university can still give you an offer to study with them. But before you submit your visa application in July 2015, you should send copies of the pending mark sheets to the university. After they see the pending mark sheets, they will issue you a CAS number and this number is needed while submitting your visa application.

Scholarships: There are many universities that gives plenty of scholarships in UK. I did my MSc, MPhil and PhD in the UK and all were on scholarships. So trust me, if your profile is sound enough with impressive high scores, you can easily win a scholarship. I can also provide you the list of scholarships and dates as per university if you want.

Hope this helps. If you require further assistance, please write to me back. I am happy to guide you at every step of this admission process. Good luck.
