Oopsss. A very different kind of jump in career.


Before i answer your question, I want you to introspect why exactly are you looking out for this kind of shift.
Though Psychology is equally tough, but a shift from engineering to psychology sounds different

Though coming to your question.
Pune university, Annamali, IGNOU and others have kept the criteria for masters in Psychology, as any graduate with a first class degree.

Though as a Psychologists myself, I believe that a base in Psychology is required for a masters degree.
Its like I want to get into manufacturing, but i don't have any knowledge about production and its essentials.

So answer to your question is Yes, you could opt for a masters degree in psychology after a B.tech degree.
But as a word of caution, think again and again before making this shift.
