Bank PO is an class I officer post offered in the Banking Sector. In order to become a PO officer one needs to have extra knowledge apart from their theoretical knowledge. Careers in banking have gaining popularity day by day due to the rapid growth in the Banking Sector . The various introduction of the new services in the Banking Sector along with the introduction of the Technology have demanded for the Human Resource that is skilled and have a good knowledge of the Technology. Whereas the Government Mandate policy of Rural banking have also given a demand to hire the Human Resource in this sector on a larger scale .
There are many career opportunities in the Banking Sector in the recent times liek PO ,CLerk, IT and Law officer etc.
Bank PO is one of the first choice of the students in the Banking Sector.
There are two types of Bank PO exams -
The Candidate who wishes to make their career in the SBI bank they need to give an exam of SBI PO whereas for the rest of the Government Banks i.e. 21 Nationalised Banks one needs to give an IBPS PO.
The Eligibility criteria for both the exams is as follows-
1. A candidate should have completed a Graduation Degree from any recognised university from any stream (except Fine Arts)
2. Should be an Indian
3. Age 20 to 28 years; 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC and 10 years for disabled person.
