The Indian Banking System has been undergoing through a lot many changes . The old Banking System is getting replace by the new systems and also the introduction of the Technology in the banking system it has given a different look to the entire Banking System . Indian Banking sector is the fastest growing sector currently and is providing a great career opportunities. Today the Banking System is not restricted to the only Traditional services now it has been providing a lot new services like Intenet Banking, Telephone Banking etc. Due to such new services Banking System needs a Human Resource that is skilled and have a good knowledge of the Technology.
One who aspires to make a career in Banking can make a career as PO,Clerk,IT officer,Law Officer etc.
There are two types of PO exams conducted. Who wish to make a career in the SBI they need to give an SBI PO exam and who wish to make a career in the rest of the nationalised Banks i.e 21 Banks for then one needs to give an IBPS PO exams.
The Eligibility criteria for the both Bank PO exams is as follows-
1. A person needs to be a Graduate from any stream except Fine Arts from a recognised university.
2. Should be an Indian.
3.Age 20 to 30 years; 5 years of relaxation for the SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for disabled person.
There is no percentage criteria for appearing the exam.
Age 30 is the limit provided if you come under reservation then you have an relaxation of age as discussed above in the point no.3
