The sector in India that has been growing rapidly is the Banking sector that is providing a lot many job and career opportunities in the country. Rural Banking has given a chance to the Banks to expand their Banking Business at various location in the country. Banking Career is one of the preferred career opton by the commerce students whereas there are also many other faculty students who are aspiring to make their career in the Banking Sector on a large scale.
The one who aspires to make a career in the Banking Sector normally have an option to go for the Clerk or PO positions. Whereas there are also other many positions like Law Officer,It Officer etc.
Bank PO is a Highest Class I officer post offered in the Bank. Tehre are two types of Bank PO exam conducted i.e SBI PO and IBPS PO. SBI PO is meant for those who wish to make their career in the SBI and IBPS PO is meant for those who wish to make their career in the rest of the Government Banks.
The Eligibility is as follows
1. A candidate should have copmpleted a Graduation Degree from a Recognised University from any stream except Fine arts.
2. Should be an Indian
3. Age 20 to 30 years; 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST; 3 years age relaxation for OBC and 10 years for disabled person.
There is no percentage criteria so considering your qualification and percentage you are eligible to apply for the Bank PO exams.
