The expansion of the Banking Sector at the rapid rate has been one of the reason for the many career opportunities in the Banking Sector.Banking career is a reputed and prestigious career option and is quite famous among the students.
One have an option whether they wish to make a career in the Private or Public Banking Sector.
In the Government Banking Sector there are two types of Bank PO exams conducted i.e SBI PO and IBPS PO. SBI PO is meant for those who wish to make a career in the SBI bank and IBPS PO exam is meant for the rest of the Government Banks.
The eligibility criteria for the BANK PO exams is as follows
1. A candidate should have completed a Graduation degree from a recognised university from any stream except Fine Arts.
2. Should be an Indian.
3. Age 20 to 30 years; 5 years age relaxation for SC and ST ; 3 years for OBC and 10 years for Disabled Person.
There is no percentage criteria. The students who have completed the Graduation from the Distance education are also eligible to apply for the Bank Exams provided your distance university needs to be approved by the UGC.
