There are many Banks that have been coming up day by day especially in the Private Banking Sector. Banking sector is at the height of growing and expansion of there business. The Growing economy of the country has been one of the reason for the expansion of the Banking Secto. The concept of Globalisation has been also one of the reason that is one of the reason for the development of the Banking Sector. Many students they aspire to make their career in the Banking Sector. Banking Career is an prestigious and respected and safe career option.
Though there has been many private banks entered in the sector and making their presence of them in the foreign market too. Government Banks are not behind in this race they have been also developing a lot and changing with the world. Government Banks have there own importance and thats what makes them to have a large clientele base.
SBI is an representing bank of the RBI and so students aspire to make a career in the SBI first and than other banks are given preference.
In order to make a career in SBI as PO ,SBI conducts there own exam called as SBI PO exam. The eligibility criteria for SBI PO exam is as follows-
1. A candidate should have completed a Graduation from any stream from a recognised university or the student who is in the last year of Graduation and waiting for the result can apply for the Exam.
2.Nationality- He/She should be an Indian.
3.Age- 20 to 30 years; 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST , 3 years of relaxation for OBC and 10 years age relaxation for disabled person.
There is no percentage criteria. You can apply for the Bank PO exam if you meet all the criteria above mentioned.
