Am Pursuing Computer Science Engineering but I failed in 4 th semester so cant continue final year

Sir, Am studying B.E in computerscience. completed 3rd year .. but I didnt cleared my 4th semstr, so I dnt have chance for final year. My age is 26. So not understanding wt to do??? please guide me.

I am Gomathi and have been a counsellor practicing in this industry since 23 years. First of all, I would like to tell you please dont worry. I understand your frustration. But dont be disheartened and feel discouraged. Failure is not the end of life. Failure teaches you what you right you should do next time, you attempt the same. I understand you are twenty six years old. Could you please clarify when did you start your BE? Did you start like other students immediately after your 12th standard? Or did you start after you were 22 years? Because I want to know if you have a gap in this education? If yes, what caused the education gap?

Whatever, you still will have a career and future. So please please do not worry okay? I have counselled many students who have failed in schools and colleges but after my counselling they have done something different and are working in companies at Assistant Managers and Managers level. This is not the end of life. But you should think how you are going to prepare your self for the next level of your life.

Well are you planning to study again? Try it. Lots of deemed universities have lateral entry route and they might consider admitting you in their colleges. Dont your present college allow you to appear for arrears? Most of the colleges in india allow their students to attempt on their arrears. Check if your college allows, and if it allows, sit for arrear exams and pass this time. If they dont have, then try for admissions in other colleges. Tell them you are okay to enter in the second or third year of the BE computer science. If there are no colleges, accepting you dont worry.

Try doing some certification courses in computer languages. You may know CSC india offers upto 75% of scholarships to help students complete certificates. Try registering for such courses and get a certificate. WIth taht certificate, get an entry level role in software companies. Your pay may be less but you should try working for it for at least a year. While working, try completing your BE degree part time or consider studying BSc Computer science part time or by distance method. Submit teh degree certificate after few years of experience and it will stablilize your career. So be cheered.
