correspondence courses can be valid, but the value really depends on whether the university and program are recognized by ugc/aicte and accepted by the employer or exam board . i did a distance diploma for work reasons and it helped for internal promotions, but it didn’t carry much weight outside my industry. also check whether the course includes required practicals or internships, since some fields won’t accept purely remote learning. i once got derailed by spam links while reading career threads and ended up on https://lightning-dice.org/, https://crazytimeonline.org/ https://sweetbonanzalive.org/ which had nothing to do with education and just wasted my time. so i’d focus on accreditation, mode of exams, and how the degree is treated for higher studies and govt jobs.
