Hey Dear,


It is really a subject question and there is not a right answer for the same...... To give an answer to: if one can get a good placement after engineering is very relative.

It depends on many things and not just the degree you hold. Just by seeing your degree it is difficult to measure your knowledge and capability.

Yes it is true that is is one of the eligibility criteria to get a good job but not the only criteria there are many other things that one would want in an employ and not just your engineering degree and that is why you have to sit for an aptitude test and the go for different round of interviews.

Placements depend on the subject knowledge you hold, your experience, your ability to deliver what you know, your communication skills, your credentials you have till that date etc... and many other things.

Most of the engineering colleges have placements these days and students do get a good amount of jobs from campus as well. But no one can guarantee a job to you even of you are the topper of your college as no matter what you have done but you will have to perform in the interview as well, Your presence of mind and your delivery of your knowledge will fetch you a good job.

But if you compare your college to other colleges then definitely if you are studying in IIT's etc... you are at a better position as getting in the college it self was difficult and you would be intelligent etc.... but even there you will have to complete all the procedures etc.,...

Dear now a days more tha your degree your skills matter if you have right skills for the job then even if your are a b.tech will not matter and I am sure until it it a job which says M.tech is required there is no need to do the same. Students are doing Higher Studies only when they want to get into research.
