As a CA, the main role includes

  • Taxation
  • Budgeting
  • Cost accounting
  • Audit
Mainly you are involved in managing the finances of the company, the expenses and filing them so as to help the organization to save on the IT returns as well as to generate revenue, like investments.

Since finance is the backbone of any organization whether Public or private.
The demand for a CA is more in public sector since budgeting and using resources importantly here is a must.

Since public sector organizations are government organizations, retirement is the only way a person would quit his job, so finding vacancies is a little issue in such organizations.
Also the salary as compared to a pvt company would be lower, and the chances of promotion are a also lower.

The other benefits in terms of perks and increments and pensions are a advantage.
The work pressure is the same in both the sectors.

If you are looking for only a public sector, then firstly put in your resume with the employment exchange office. Then post it on various job portals like naukri, monster and so on.
Also please note that jobs in public sector are available mostly through references, so maintain good contacts with people working in such sectors.

Also post your jobs on the company website or directly post your resume to the companies address.

Wish you all the very best.....
