Congratulation for such a fantastic dream in life " there is will there is there is a way in life".Well to be a doctor is not impossible achievement for you. Try to be on track as mentioned below:1. Passing 12th with biology in distinction reflects your level of fundamental understanding so if you are in school then have long way to groom yourself2. After 12th either you need to see the structure of different gateways/entrance tests either at state level or central level then prepare yourself accordingly. In medical colleges different types of courses are being offered as per merit. Please see the list below:1. MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery): several countries including India offers this course for a general physician. Duration more than five years including enternship.2. MS (Master of Surgery): for higher studies exclusively for those medical students who posses MBBS which is pre-requisite and duration is three years. You will be known as surgeon---3. MD (Doctor of Medicine): Same as mentioned in para 2 you will be known as reverent physician. 4. Apart from above mentioned degrees you can opt out other field of medical sciences too: BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery): it is four years program meant for dental surgery. BHAMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery): duration 5.5 years BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine--etc.For MBBSand BDS only you can appear in AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Test- www.aipmt.nic.in/aipmt) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education-CBSC and several other entrance tests are also being conducted like AFMC, State level of medical entrance etc. You must check the participating state list for your state.Well I have given you the basic guidelines for a doctor in making and the types of course work which requires at entry level.Apart from these, you must understand the other factor for a doctor:1.
