Hi There,

Please note that no Job is gender specific. eg. Earler Tecahing was considered a female oriented job, now we have Male teachers too and they are doing a good job.

Agreed Mechanical engineering, as it sounds is mainly delaing with machines and their functions, but it is open to both genders, who are keenly interested in working with machines.

As far as my knowledge goes, CDAC are courses related to systems and its functionalities. Thus even though the course eligibility criteria openly states Engineers, I feel they are more suited to students with systems related knowledge like IT, Software and hardware etc.

Check: http://cdac.in/index.

In your case, you can opt for a crash course related to systems and opt for CDAC, so you would be dealing with computers alone. Software is a better option.

Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...

Dear Aspirant,

If you are choosing and deciding your career based on the criteria of 'female', then I am sorry to say that you will have a hard time ahead.

All can be in all fields of career. Please do not have such thoughts if you wish to make a good career for long term.

PSU, do not recruit freshers without GATE scores.

CDAC courses for IT field are very good and you can certainly explore them.

Best wishes

Congratulations! If you're struggling to come up with graduation speech ideas, I found a really useful resource https://www.customwritings.com/howtowrite/post/20-topics-graduation-speech/

. The site provides 20 different topics that can help shape your speech, from goal-setting and determination to creativity and critical thinking. There's also a sample speech called "Choose Your Battles" rel="nofollow", which comes with an analysis of its strengths and areas for improvement. What I liked most were the tips on keeping the speech concise and engaging while making a real impact on the audience. Definitely worth checking out if you want your speech to stand out!

Hi there! There are several promising career paths for females in the mechanical stream. Many companies today value diversity, and roles in design engineering, manufacturing management, quality control, and R&D are becoming increasingly accessible. On the government/PSU side, there are opportunities at organizations like BHEL, ONGC, IOCL, DRDO, and others that sometimes recruit without requiring a GATE score—often through campus placements or direct recruitment notifications.

Regarding courses similar to CDAC for mechanical engineering, CDAC is mainly geared toward IT and computing. However, the government does offer various skill development and technical training programs through polytechnics, industrial training institutes (ITIs), and even some initiatives by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship that cater to the mechanical field. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on official websites and announcements from these organizations for the most current information.

Hope this helps and best of luck in your career journey.
