Dear Aspirant,

If you are interested in Information Technology or IT Engineering career, then doing BE IT is highly recommended and not BSc IT.

If the case is that you are not getting admission into engineering for some reason, then I would suggest that you may choose BCA and not BSc IT. BSc IT is also a good course, but I would like to recommend that do not settle for a second level course if you are getting admission to superior course.

Plain BSc would not help you to get into IT industry and in this case, BSc IT is fine. However you will be much more in demand for jobs if you complete MSc IT, which is equivalent to an Engineering in IT.

Before you proceed to choose one of them, I would suggest you to take the Ideal Career Test from CareerGuide.com. This is a psychometric test, which will suggest you a suitable course based on your real interests, aptitude and inter personal abilities.

Best wishes
