Hi There,

Every mode of communication we use, right from the telephone to the internet to the radio or TV, all have a circuit that helps receive and send or rather transmits information.
These parts are developed by Telecommunication engineers.

simple eg, the router that helps internet connection at our homes, is designed an developed by the lectronics and telecommunication person.
So Electronics and Telecommunication is a specilaization in the engineering field and as far as the demand is concerned, these days everything being technical, definitely this field is in demand.

As far as other specializations are concerned. Few that I can think of includes:

  • IT / Software engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Automobile engineering
  • Marine engineering
  • Petroleum engineering

As a word of caution, please do not opt for a specialization depending on their demand or their salary structure.
Choose on the basis of interests.
Only then will you be recognised in the market and will be paid accordingly.

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck.....

Yes ECE is always been in demand. But if you do CSE that would be more advisable as there are more job opportunities and if an electronic engineer couldnt able to get a job he moves to IT company

. Civil Engineers are also in high demand. Beside stream it is also important to take admission in some top college as IIT's , NIT's, Osmania University,IIIT hyderabad, Lovely Professional University.
