Hi there,
The above picture is the answer to your question.

But before I explain it in little details, I just wish to know, if there is a profile other than engineering that you are looking out for, when it comes to be a part of the Aviation Industry.

Since the aviation industry, needs to co-ordinate with the ground staffs about various aspects right from
knowing how the climate is????
When to land and when to take off???
Informing them when difficulty arises??? and How to deal with it during flight???

If you notice, the above mentioned issues relate to what you guys are into.
A part of communicating using the virtual medium.
A telecommunication engineer are the ones who study the internal devices of such modes of communication.

So if you are the ones who are into manufacturing the devices, who else can help to troubleshoot and help the pilot during the flying time.

Please note that in the Aviation industry, there are groups of engineers who work together as a team like the Mechanical engineer, Automobile or Aviation engineer and the telecom engineer.
Also the roles vary depending on the need at the particular time. Though other engineers are apt to deal with communication issues, but since you are well qualified you are called in first when difficulty arises.

Also please note that your profile is divided into two aspects, i.e, in-house ground staffs, whereby you would be checking in before the flight takes off, so complete maintenance at the time the aircraft is stationed at the harbor.
And also there are in-flight engineers, who accompany the aircrew team, so that if there are difficulty while flying they can be there to deal with the said difficulty.
But both the in-house and in-flight team works in co-ordination.

Since the In-house team, is studying the machine in relation to other important factors like weather etc.

After completing your Graduation, you can join the Aviation industry immediately too.

Since a masters degree is mostly related to research. But if you are interested in Masters then you could opt for majors in any specializations offered like:
Telecommunication Engineering
Microelectronics and VLS Design

Remember, that since your job mainly deals with areas related to modes of communication, any industry right from Para-military to Aviation to Space is open for you.

Hope you get an insight from what is mentioned above.
In-case of further difficulty do write back.

Wish you all the very best..........

There is very less scope.AS it is mentioned that "To be an aeronautical engineer one should

have a graduate degree (B.E/B.Tech.) or at least a diploma in Aeronautics". this is required. So Try to have higher degree like M-tech or MBA so that you can have better opportunities the universities which provide you excellent placement activities, scholarship for your carrier are
1) SJ College of Engineering, Mysore...............................2)SASTRA University, Thanjavur 3) Lovely Professional University...................................4) Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology..
