Cost AccountantDear Student,

Greetings of the day!!!

Let me tell you about my self i am a cost accountant and MBA, along with a degree of FRM.

Cost Accountant is a Degree which is renowned for the financial job. Costing is a specialized field and thus in any organisation which has diverse activities and have broad functions would need cost accountant.

Costing is a recognized as a degree and same has been passed by parliaments, moreover government has made lot of sectors and industry mandatory to keep records of Costing.

There are lot of industry in PSU which gives preference to Cost Accountant for their finance job. you would observe in Recruitment Advertisements that lot of PSU offer lucrative salary and growth to CA/CWA/CS

Cost accountant is equipped to handle all the things pertains to finance and thus PSU do provide a preference to CWA/CMA for the Finance job.

Normally PSU have their screening process like lot of other corporate which has to be cleared by any individual who is willing to do get a job. The screening can be minimum percentage or attempts to clear a exam or certain test, once the test is cleared then the interview process would decide the job offer.

Cost Accountant would always get a preference over any other normal degree holder in PSU.

I hope i have made you clear about your question, do write in case of any query in future

Remember you can get entry with a degree but its your hard work which provides you growth

Wish you all the Best!!!!

Rgds
