A Heartiest Congratulations for completing for your BA.

Many a times it happens that after completing our graduation degree still we are not sure what we should do further in career. Its good to hear that you have been determined to become an Officer. And you have taken a right stream also i.e Arts in order to become an Government Officer.

To be an Government officer is one of the good career option and its one of the highly respectable career looked by the society. The candidate who wish to serve the society and country they opt for the option of becoming an officer.

You have not mentioned which officer you wish to become. Because one can become an officer under the Central Government and of the State Government.

Well in order to be a Officer either under the Central or the State Government one needs to have completed a Graduation from any stream from a recognised university with minimum 50% percent in the Graduation.

So definitely you can apply for the Officers post exam like UPSC,State Public Service Commission exam of your state, SSC exam, Defence sector exam.

If you are planning to give an UPSC or State Public Service Commission Exam then they are conducted in 3 steps i.e Prelim exam, Mains Exam and Personal Interview.

For other exam their is a written test and Personal Interview.

Prepare well for whichever exam you wish to apply.

Apart from meeting the eligibility requirement of the education as graduate you also need to meet the age criteria as mentioned by the respective exams to which you wish to apply.

I hope you find this information useful and helpful.

Feel free to get in touch again for any further career queries.

Wish you Good Luck
