Banking sector is one of the top most growing field in the country. It has been one of the top most preferred career option by many students these days. Banking sector has been flourishing in Urban and Rural area as well as at the International Level too. So there has been huge requirement of the Human Resource in this sector. The large use of the Technology these days their has been a need of the Human Resource that have a good Technological Skills. The Banking Sectors work is not restricted to providing customers a Bank Account Facility it has gone beyond like providing more services to the clients.
There has been a great career opportunities in both the Private as well as Public Banking Sector.
The person who aspires to make a career in the Banking Sector especially in the Public Banking Sector they need to go through the exam. There are two types of Exams are conducted in the Government Banking Sector i.e Bank Clerk and Bank PO.
Bank PO is higher designation offered in the Government Banking Sector. There are two types of Bank PO exam conducted.
The Candidates who aspires to make a career in SBI bank they need to give an SBI PO exam.; whereas the candidate who wish to make a career as PO in any of the Government Banks they need to give an IBPS Bank PO exam. IBPS BANK PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the remaining 21 Government Banks in the Country.
The educational eligibility for both the exam is as follows-
1.A candidate should have completed a Graduation Degree from any of the stream from a recognised university.
2. In order to be eligible for the SBI Bank PO exam and IBPS BANK PO Exam the Age criteria is as follows-
General Candidate - 21 years to 30 years. For reserved category the age relaxation is sought as per the government rules.
So stream does not matter. A student needs to meet the above mentioned criteria.
You can apply for the SBI Bank PO exam or IBPS BANK PO exam any of them if you meet the above mentioned criteria.
