Hello dear friend...

It is really good to see you have done so much in life and again thinking of moving ahead, I like your positive attitude and way of looking towards like, a never late attitude is always helpful. You did your bcom and than MBA IN human resource too which is a very good thing again, now doing your own business and planning for a food processing unit that a great thing, congratulations for all the achievements in life.

Coming to your question I would say it is any day possible to do that course not a big deal at all.

Food processing is a branch of food science and uses a set of methods and methodology to convert raw materials into food It involves many methods like

Preservation of food, enhancing flavors, reducing toxins etc, these all techniques led us to current days super markets and stores, cold storage etc.

It is gaining momentum very fastlyand the consumer base of processed food also growing rapidly both in upper and lower middle class. So many career options are there in it like food technologist, organic chemist, bio chemist, home economist, research scientist etc.

some personal attributes also required for it like hygiene consciousness, meticulous , organization abilities, cleanliness, hard working attitude which I think you have.

some offers degreecoursesin food processing such as BSc in home science, bsc in food technology, apart from all this you can find many training institutes giving training in the same field and help you in getting the required skill. I think that will be better option for you rather than course. Go for a short term training program s you do not need a job placement you need some guidance and knowledge in it so short term courses is fine for you. This courses will give you all you are looking for and will full fill your requirements and demands

Hope you got your answer after reading myexplanationand now you can go for the choice apt for you and grow yourbusiness to even more heights and lead towards gainingprofitsin your company .

all the best for your plans and successful business career

Thank you

Regarding the setting up of the food processing unit, there are many companies which manufacture and supplies the machinery involved. You have to see what type of food processing unit you wish to set up. It is dairy products unit, normal food processing or meat processing industry.

You can visit the other industries also in your area. Get an idea the cost involved, types of machinery involved and the requirement of technical expertise.

Another thing I wish to mention here, that if you do not wish to go for a course in Food Processing and Technology, still you can open your unit. Just select the right technical persons. You do have good experience of take away outlet and you are a good human resource manager. Therefore, you can manage things easily.

With all my best wishes,

Good Luck..
