Dear PhD Aspirant,

I am very glad to see you approach CareerGuide for seeking guidance and clarifications for your career development. Let me assure that you have selected the right platform to get advice from.
I think I can guide you considering my more than 10 years of experience in counselling and industry.

I am very happy to see that you wish to do a PhD and excel your career.

Yours is a very good question.

PGDM is generally not allowed as an eligibility for Phd admission. However if your PGDM is equivalent to MBA as per the AIU (Association of Indian Universities) norms then you can be admitted as a PhD student.

You need to check your certificate and Institute from which you did your PGDM. If the Institute is not under AIU, then you will not be eligible for PhD. You then need to have compulsorily a Masters degree by status and recognition for applying for PhD.

Please do get back to me in case you are still wanting to ask some thing or require any more clarification or guidance. I will be very glad to help you out and see you become successful in your career.

Best wishes,
