These two subjects are mandatory to study a bachelors degree in Psychology and without them colleges wouldn't often accept students on this program. Therefore, please choose Chemistry and Biology at school level. This is the first step to get you qualify for a Psychology degree.

Secondly, you can choose for colleges that offers you a BA/ BSc Psychology degree. As part of the Psychology degree, there are many internal options that colleges often offer to students and they are Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Experimental psychology, environmental psychology, organisational behaviour/ organisational psychology, child psychology, education psychology, adult psychology, developmental psychology, forensic psychology, social psychology, marketing psychology and consumer behaviour. Depending on the college and their syllabus structure you may be offered some of the specialisations indicated above. To study Clinical psychology please remember Chemistry and Biology are mandatory subjects at 12th level. Alternatively if you want to specialise in Counselling psychology or Social psychology then students from any background could be accepted on to this course but also please be informed that only private colleges accept to offer this flexibility.
