Dear Aspirant,

Self taught programming may get you a job in IT. Electrical Engineering is of no relevance in IT and is treated just as a graduation degree.

Why are you avoiding to get certified / qualified to get into IT jobs? You have already chosen the wrong field when you feel that you want to go in programming and leave electrical engineering field.

Dont take any more risks and now you need to make over for the shortfalls.

Best wishes!

Hi There,

Very very interesting.

I like and always encourage "Self Learning".

To be honest, degrees acquired by learning is restricted to only college level or canteen level discussion.
Industries these days wish to employ employees, who can add that extra bit to the work and are open to learning.

Definitely with your self learned knowledge you can get a job in an IT firm.
With your Resume, please do add this also as a work experience or under "Projects", highlighting your acquired knowqledge.

But mind you this is just for you to enter the industry.

But for you to move up the ladder, you need to get IIT certified or a degree.

So once in the job, apply for an MCA or M.tech IT.

Wish you good luck........
