Dear Aspirant,
Why are you trying for short cuts and out of the system education?
Thinking of ME or MTech from Pune based engineering colleges is a good idea, however I would like to know were there any placements opportunities after your BE? Or are you interested in a Masters degree may be as a superior qualification or may be for getting into the teaching career?
I feel, if you are interested in ME/MTech for enhancing your knowledge for job purpose in future, you should first try to get a job based on the BE. You have not mentioned which engineering branch you have done your BE in. Based on BE you can get jobs and getting work experience is vital if you are getting a job at the first place. If you are not getting a job, then you may go for MTech/ME but be careful of your specialisation.
If you are interested in teaching, then bypassing the GATE is not a good thinking.
I feel, you should think from both the sides and decide whether to do ME/MTech now. You can do ME/MTech while doing your job too.

Hello Apeksha.. Institutes like Lovely Professional University, VIT university etc are giving admission for M.Tech without GATE score. But you will have to appear for the university entrance test and qualify for the admission. The basic eligibility for appearing in the entrance test is to score 60% in B.Tech. Good performance in the university test will also help you to get good amount of schoolmarmish in institutes like LPU. Please visit the websites of the universities to get more details.
