Banking is one of the great carer option who wish to make their career in the banking sector. Banking has been considerably growing day by day.Its one of the fast growing industry in the country. The sector has been working in various sectors like education,agriculture etc. Banking sector has been expanding and reaching in the rural areas of India. Whereas the Indian Banking Sector has been making their presence in the Foreign Countries too.
Every year there has been a great job opportunities in the Banking Sector for various designations like clerk,PO ,IT Officer etc. So there is a huge requirement of the Human Resource that is tech Savvy and Skilled.
In order to make a career in the Banking Sector one can either go for the Clerk or for the PO .
The candidate who aspire to make their career in the SBI bank they need to appear for the SBI PO whereas the candidate who wish to make their career as a PO in any government bank they need to give an IBPS PO exam.IBPS PO exam is conducted for the rest of 21 Government Banks in the Country.
In order to apply for any of these exams following are the eligibility as per the recent notification-
1. A candidate must be a graduate from any stream from a recognised university or a student who is in final year of graduation and is waiting for the result can also give an examination.
2. Natioanlity- Indian.
3. Age- 20 to 30 Years; 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST;3 years for OBC and 10 years for the Disabled.
Percentage criteria is not there for the Bank Exams; only you need to meet the above mentioned criteria. If you re in 3rd year of th graduation and waiting for the result you can apply for the PO exam.
