The candidate who aspire to make their career in the SBI bank they need to appear for the SBI PO whereas the candidate who wish to make their career as a PO in any government bank they need to give an IBPS PO exam.IBPS PO exam is conducted for the rest of 21 Government Banks in the Country.
In order to apply for any of these exams following are the eligibility as per the recent notification-
1. A candidate must be a graduate from any stream from a recognised university or a student who is in final year of graduation and is waiting for the result can also give an examination.
2. Natioanlity- Indian.
3. Age- 20 to 30 Years; 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST;3 years for OBC and 10 years for the Disabled.
As you have completed your graduation from PTU,though its a disatnce education but it is an approved by UGC so you get eligible to apply for the SBI PO Exams. The mode of education do not matter for applying to the SBI PO exam . They need a graduation to be completed from the recognised university.Percentage criteria is not there for the Bank Exams; only you need to meet the above mentioned criteria.
