The person who aspires to make a career in the Banking Sector especially in the Public Banking Sector they need to go through the exam. There are two types of Exams are conducted in the Government Banking Sector i.e Bank Clerk and Bank PO. Bank PO is higher designation offered in the Government Banking Sector. Bank PO exam is conducted for the students who are Graduates. There are two types of Bank PO exam conducted.
The candidate who wish to make a career as PO in any of the Government Banks they need to give an IBPS Bank PO exam. IBPS BANK PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the remaining 21 Government Banks in the Country.
The eligibility criteria is same as that of the Bank Clerk Exam.
Only there is a age difference in the criteria for Bank PO exam one can apply till the age of 30, and the relaxation is same like Bank Clerk exam.
The one who has given a Bank Clerk exam can also given an exam of Bank PO. There is no restriction that the candidate who has given Clerk exam is not eligible for the Bank PO exam.
