I do not see any point and logic behind studying Instrumentation after Diploma in Computer Science Engineering.
Why are you thinking this way? Are you not wanting to continue in an exciting field of Computer Science Engineering, where there are plenty of good opportunities for jobs and growth.
Studying Instrumentation will be like starting from zero where you CSE knowledge will not be of use in the course.
I would suggest you to continue with the degree in CSE and go for related jobs.
