The Candidates who aspires to make a career in SBI bank they need to give an SBI PO exam.; whereas the candidate who wish to make a career as PO in any of the Government Banks they need to give an IBPS Bank PO exam. IBPS BANK PO exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the remaining 21 Government Banks in the Country.
1. A candidate should have completed a Graduation Degree from any of the stream from a recognised university.
2.Nationality- Indian (a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or refugee of Tibet who came to India with the intention to permanent settlement before 1st Jan. 1962)
3.Age- 20 to 30 years; 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years is for disabled person.
To appear for the SBI PO exams there are restriction on the No. of attempt for the exam which are as follows
1. General Category- 4 attempts
2. OBC - 7 attempts
3. Reserved Category - No restrictions
There is no percentage criteria to appear for the SBI PO exams. You are eligible to apply for the SBI PO exams provided you meet the other criteria apart from the qualification.
