Such as Clinical psychologist/ Health psychologist works in hospitals , clinics, rehab centers, NGO's , public sector organizations etc. Educational psychologist works for schools , colleges or education and training centers. Industrial psychologist works for corporate sector and companies.Career counselors works in area of career counseling and development of students.Sports psychologist works for sports federations and associations. There are various others area in psychology such as community psychology, marriage counseling, family counseling, HIV counseling, Speech therapist, Substance abuse counseling etc Social work is also closely related to psychologist work profile.With the recent time the demand and importance of psychologist has increased in India.
