Hi Saransh,

I am assuming that by sub categories, you mean, specializations at the Mass-media Bachelors level.

Please note that BMM, is a 3 years Undergraduate program.
The specializations offered in the 3 year are:

  • Journalism
  • Advertisement
  • PR
Depending on your interests you can further opt for a masters degree or a PG Diploma program.

Certficate courses as well as private institutes offers seperate courses like

  • Animations
  • Graphic Designing
  • Coral Draw
Though there are few University that offer these above mentioned subjects as a Graduate level study too.
But they are a part of the BMM program, but are not taught in-depth.

As far as verbal or communications is concerned, please note that since this is a Media firm, both verbal and non-verbal communications are important.
To understand what the client wants and at the same time being able to convince the client requires good command over language and hence communication is important, whether you opt for any of the specializations available in the media stream.

Hope this answers your query.

Wish you good luck........
