The job description of a typical animator includes variety of things which are often ignored by many animators. They just don't need the creative and artistic drawing and sketching skills but also few other skills like:

IT proficiency
Patience
Ability to work for long hours
Team work

And there are many. They have to work in the office environment and have to constantly coordinate with other team members. One of the important aspect of their work is to pay attention to every detail of the design. It is the detailing that provides distinguished features in the animations. There are quite serious and responsible duties that an animator has to play. First of all he must have a formal training and related branch qualifications, thereafter he has to have a hand on practical skills for this branch. He must be tolerant and flexible as well. He has to bring the requisite impact in the give shot of a movie. Finally one has to take admission in Bachelors degree in media and animation or Film-making and animation course at any one of these reputed institutions - VIT, Vellore,..................SRM, Chennai,..................Lovely Professional University, Phagwara
