Hi Arpita ,

Before I answer your question, let me ask you few questions,

  • Where does person who has met an accident and is recovering but is still immobile go to???
  • Someone who suffers from muscul radysfunctioning go to???
  • Someone who is aged and gets up in while walking etc, go to???

answer to the above question is Physiotherapist

Physiotherapists helps rehabilitate patients with any kind of physical dysfunction which may be result of injury, or accident or by birth.

They use lot of exercises, or Infrared light and or machines to help patients recover from their issues.

They deal with patients from various form of injury resulting from Sports, accidents, trauma , surgery as well as children with severe disability too.

As Physiotherapists, one needs to have complete knowledge of the human anatomy.

Hence student who wishes to pursue degree in Physiotherapy, must be 12th Science PCB Background student. After that they would have to clear an Entrance exam to pursue 3 years BPT Program. As Graduate, you can work as general Physiotherapists, but if you wish to work with certain specific age groups you need to pursue Masters degree
