I want to pursue Bsc Agriculture Hons. from Lovely Professional University. It is a private university and not ICAR approved , is it going to affect my admissions to masters course? You are correct. Bsc Agriculture Hons. course conducted by Lovely Professional University is not currently recognized by ICAR. But Lovely Professional University has many other courses recognized by UGC and AICTE.
In the present scenario, You have the same 4 years honors course with DAV University, Jalandhar. (website- http://davuniversity.org/school/faculty-of-agricultural-science-and-technology.aspx). Swami Vivekananda group of institutes based at Jalandhar also offers BSc Agriculture course under Punjab Technical University.
I suggest you to take up any of these courses instead of going for BSc Agriculture Hons. from Lovely Professional University. Your future will be much more secured and there will not be any problem in getting post graduate entry.

LPU website does NOT mention about ICAR approval. However it is in process according to my sources.I think you can do your Masters in Agriculture also from LPU.
LPU is a very reputed, proven University and has A Grade. I do not feel that there is anything to worry.
You can proceed for admission for Agriculture course.
