After 12th with PCM/ PCB astudent can puruse a undergradsue course in forensic science. Some of the courses at undergradue level are B.Sc Forensic Science , B.Sc Physics. Chemistry & Forensic Science , B.Sc Life Sciences, Chemistry & Firensic Science. To get admission in B.Sc Forensic Science one should have completed 12th with PCM/ PCB. However to pursue B.Sc Physics, Chemistry & Firensic Science one must have done 12+2 with PCM subjects. Whereas to pursue B.Sc Life Sciences , Chemistry & Forensic sciences one should have studied PCB/ PCMB.

Forensic experts analyze all [hysical evidences found on a crime sceneand provide expert testimony in sa court of law. The evidences can include fingerprints, tyre or footwear expressions, traces of blood. Their work is mainly divided into following categories:-
Forensic Pathology/ Medicine- These experts are responsible for finding out the time and cause of death in case of murder or suicide. The work involvesc post mortem exmaination sof deaths.

Forensic Psychology and Psychiatry:-are responsible for identifying as to whether a mental state of a suspect is reponsble for acrime or aperson is mental fit to undergop trial and trating those convicing of crime who are mentally ill. A foresic psychologist assist acourt and other law enforcement agencies in arriving at a appropriate decision by analyzing the situations .

Crimer Scence Investigation- involves locating and collecting relevant items of evidence , interpretation of evidence.
Forensic lingusits/ Dentistry
