Hello Dear Aspirant,

A warm welcome to careerguide.com

Thanks for visiting us and writing us your career query.

Its good to see that you have been planning to make a career in CS after Law . Law +CS is a great combination for the career growth and in the industries too candidate having a CS with Law degree are preferred most . CS is a field that deals with the legal side of the companies and its a  good career option for those students who wish to make their career in the corporate law. Appointment of the CS has been mandatory as per the companies act in the industries.

A person who wish to be a CS needs to have an in depth knowledge of the Law related to the Industries and Companies. So a Law degree always helps a person to excel in the field of Law.

As you have completed Law thats the good point thing and you can definitely go for the CS course. You need to register with the ICSI institute at the nearby CS chapter in your city. Now as you have completed a Law degree you need not register for the CS Foundation you can register directly for the CS Professional Group and can give exam of CS Professional Group I and II. while you can also get the exemption for the law subjects in the CS Professional Course. You need to under go for the Article ship of 3 years and IT Training. After completing CS Professional you can apply for the CS Final. On completing CS final you become certified CS. The exams are conducted twice in a year i.e in May and December. You can choose when to give an examination as per your choice.
