Dear Friend,

Greetings of the day!!!
Unorganised Sector
As per your JEE Score in JEE Mains you have cleared the cut off of general category for JEE Advance by a margin of 10 Marks. This year the cutoff was 113 for general category that means if we consider 50% seats going to reserved categories like SC,ST, OBC PD etc and remaining 50% for Open category.

Since you belong to open category you should be in a range of 60000 to 70000 in general category across india. Now if we consider you marks of MAHARASHTRA Board of 80% along with JEE Mains and assume a rank then it would be in a range of around 1500-2000 in state. Thus you state rank in best case as per last year experience would be around or more than 1000.

Looking at both the factors above it look difficult for you to get admission in one of NIT of College of Pune University.

It would be advisable to secure your admission in VIT since you are getting admission into the same on your merit, also the nae of VIT over the past few years have improved considerably.

After securing admission also you may not pay the full fees and can decide in case you are getting a better college based on your JEE Rank.

There is one more thing which you can do in case you do not get a desired college of your choice you can prepare again along with your engineering and fight for JEE. This would help you to take one more chance with no risk.

Wish you all the best!!!
