Cut off percentage for pune university M.A clinical psychology ?

1. I have plain B.A (no specialization). I scored aggregate 68 % in B.A 1st year (psychology marks- 83), B.A 2nd year- 66% (aggregate, psychology marks- 67) and I am waiting for my 3rd year results to be announced. I am from nagpur university. My query is- Do I stand a chance to come in the merit list of pune university for M.A clinical psychology?

Wish you all the very best for your Graduation result. I am sure looking at your earlier record I am sure you would score a first class in your Graduation.

Also you have chosen one of the premier institute to pursue higher study.
But before you apply, please read the selection criteria clearly, as most of the universities accept students who have done 6 papers in psychology for clinical psychology course. If that is the case, you would have to apply for a paper of psychology before you apply for the masters program.
As for the cut-offs, it would all depend on the number of students applying for the same specialization, the highest overall percentage in ARTS and the number of seats available.
If you have decide Clinical Psychology as your majors, I am sure you know about the work and your scope. As a Clinical Psychologists you encompass the entire field of Psychology. You are well aware and equipped with the knowledge of assessments and analysis and therapies. You could look for an opportunity into hospitals, counseling firms, school counseling and also a private practice.
Lastly don't just sit with a degree, equip yourself with as many certificate and short courses possible and depending on the need of therapy.
