Interesting, that you wish to shift your profile, but why into the compliance field.
As a Compliance officer, one needs to look into the legal matters of the organization and see that everything is followed ethically.So knowledge not only about LAW, but also the organization as it functions is a must.
So even without knowledge in LAW, you can work as a Compliance officer, only you would be checking the ethical practices that the company follows. Since the rules are laid down, you just need to see that the Company is following it accurately, only that you would been unable to guide them, because for guidance you need to have complete knowledge regarding LAWS
Please note that, there are diploma programs available in LAW, which can be done in correspondence, so you get a degree in LAW and at the same time, you do not loose your job.

I beg to differ with the other counsellors on this. For getting into Compliance field, the industry demands solid qualifications since the position and work is full of responsibility and a single default in compliance can lead to loss of lakhs to the company.
For getting a good compliance profile job, LLB is a must, in other words a legal qualification is a must.
Another good option is you can do Masters in Business Laws (MBL) from any of the National Law Universities in India through distance mode. MBL is industry recognised degree and valued by the industry for promotions and new jobs. You can specialise in SEBI compliance, RBI Compliance, Company Law compliance, etc.
