Hi There,

Generally a P.hD is the required qualification to carry on with Research.

But please note that to earn a degree in P.hD, you need to do research and present papers or rather prepare a thesis that needs to be approved, before you get your Researcher degree.

Dear Aspirant,

The college from where you complete your BDS and MDS, you can speak to the same college for research opportunities in Dentistry.

There is definitely scope for dentistry in India and abroad and therefore definitely pursuing a PhD course is recommended. You should also find out with your University about PhD in Dentistry and speak to the Guides before making a decision to enrol for a PhD course.
