Business Analysts though work on computer software but that doesn't mean they are restricted to machines. They experience a lot of social interactions in different ways:

  • They have to interact with the clients, sometimes directly and sometimes over phone or video conferencing. The kind of impression that they leave on the clients can have great impact on the project.
  • Throughout the day they have to coordinate with their team members to work on various activities assigned to them. This way, they are not working individually but as a team.
  • Business Analysts have to attend the meetings with the team members and the management.
  • Business Analysts mostly working in consulting industry where relationship building is an important part of their work. Therefore, they interact with a number of people every day.
  • Apart from business work, they attend a number of official celebrations and parties. This is again an important part of corporate culture. Thus, there is no dearth of human interactions for business analysts.
