What kind of social interaction
Hello,The CA's experience social interactions throughout there career. The CA's either do a job or start there own practice.CA's in job experience less social interaction as compared to CA's in practice.CA's in Practice:CA's who have there own practice have to interact with people on regular basis so as develop there clientele. Further, social interaction with existing clients is very important as from such interactions the CA gets to know more about the clients requirements in terms of work.CA's have to attend various seminars, workshops, studies which are organised by ICAI on regulars basis all over the India almost frequently. By attending such seminars, workshops etc. CA's gets a chance to interact with new people, as these workshop is even open for any person who wish to attend. So you never know you may meet a prospective client in such seminars.CA's in Job:CA's in Job experience less social interactions. This is due to the fact that they get a fixed tasks/assignments such as making of MIS for the company, doing accounting, making balance sheets etc. They have social interactions limited to there colleagues, auditors, consultants. However there are CA's who while doing job, do part-time practice as well. In such situation, one has to be very active in CA fraternity to get assignments.Increasing Social Network of CA's:The social network of CA's has expanded significantly since last 5-6 years. Its more because of technology. Those who are active in social media such as linkedin, facebook & other networking websites gets more opportunities. Many CA's have made there websites so as to connect more & more people in there network. They organizes various functions, seminars, get together and invite new people thereby expanding there network. Therefore, social networking is very important to grow in CA fraternity.RegardsMayank Chopra
