This is one of the misconception about Computer Engineers- that they are working with their computers and avoid social interactions. The truth however is different.

Day starts up with sync up: The day of a Computer Engineer starts up with sync up on the issues to be tackled throughout the day. Typically a meeting is conducted where the team members exchange ideas and share information.

It's all about Communication: Throughout the day, one has to communicate with their team members and other fellow workers to keep track of the things. If they live in isolation, it won't be possible to get the right productivity at workplace.

Management: The professionals (specially at senior positions) are often required to lead a team and guide others in a project setting. In such cases, people skills become more crucial than technical skills. Most Computer Engineers take note of this fact and hence possess good people skills.

Having Fun:Computer Engineers like to have all throughout the day. They hang out with the fellow workers and enjoy the time. The nerd look of Computer Engineers is a myth and you will get to see the truth if you visit the office once.
